Ben Darwin (Co-Founder & GM of Corporate)
Ben established GAIN LINE Analytics after more than a decade of involvement in professional sport. As a player, Ben represented the ACT Brumbies in Super Rugby and played at international level for the Wallabies. Ben has considerable experience in coaching, player development and analysis. This includes a variety of coaching and performance analysis positions with the Western Force, Melbourne Rebels and in Japan with NTT Shining Arcs and Suntory Sungoliath.
Driven by a desire to introduce a greater degree of empirical analysis into professional sport, Ben started GAIN LINE Analytics in 2013. As a hands-on founder, Ben is involved at every level of the business, whether it be developing predictive models, presenting research findings or consulting with clients.

Simon Strachan (Co-Founder & GM of Sport)
As a co-founder Simon brings a wealth of experience to GAIN LINE Analytics through his extensive professional career working in the automotive industry and as an educator. As a Rugby coach with 20 years experience he has seen sport change in ways never thought of and the rise of data analytics.
Working as a video analyst with the Wallabies and Melbourne Rebels, Simon understands the level of detail required in modern sport, the need for objective decision making data and the need for it to be based on real world experiences. GAIN LINE Analytics has allowed him the bring all his skill sets and passion for sport together under one roof.

Nic Stirzaker (Head of Sydney/AU Office)
Nic is the Head of the Sydney Office at GAIN LINE Analytics. Prior to this, Nic spent over 10 years playing rugby professionally including captaining the Melbourne Rebels, playing for Saracens (UK), Bristol (UK), Montauban (France) and representing the Barbarians. Nic speaks fluent French.
Nic followed the GAIN LINE Analytics journey since the company's inception, seeing similarities between his sporting experience and the work. Inspired by the field of Cohesion Analytics and the sense of objectivity it brought to an industry often characterised by intangible notions, he undertook a Masters of Innovation, Leadership & Management through the University of York (UK). His research thesis focused on the issue of player retention in professional sport.

Dhruv Tripathi (Head Software Engineer & Business Analyst)
Dhruv Tripathi is a Master of Information Technology graduate from RMIT University, Melbourne. Whilst studying at RMIT University, he gained industry experience as a Software Developer and Software Engineer while also developing Machine Learning applications. Dhruv interned at GAIN LINE Analytics as a Software Engineer on a number of sports and corporate related projects before joining as a full time employee. He is passionate about Software Engineering and Data Analytics and his role at GAIN LINE Analytics has helped him in bringing together his passion and skills.

Fabian Boiciuc (Head Sport Research Analyst)
A sports passionate person, Fabian has been working with GAIN LINE Analytics since it's inception, starting with simple research and growing into his current role. Fabian has an very high knowledge base across many different of diverse sports. He is integral in the development of continual updating of GAIN LINE Analytics databases and research tools. Fabian has a bachelor degree in Computer Engineering and Programming and brings a diverse all around skill set to the business.

Ben Watkins (Rugby League & Corporate Consultant)
Ben Watkins has been an integral part of GAIN LINE Analytics since 2017. Drawing from his extensive background in professional rugby league, Ben has played a pivotal role in developing our rugby league database and shaping our cutting-edge analysis.
Following a distinguished career with Anglo American in the mining sector, Ben now serves with the Queensland Mines Rescue Service. His unique blend of expertise in sports and high-stakes rescue operations brings a dynamic edge to GAIN LINE Analytics, making his contributions invaluable.
